I've been waiting for something like this since around 2004 when it was clear that audio to MIDI was simply not good enough real time (of course JamOrigin MIDIGuitar has proved that wrong now anyway).

Sadly I can't support the kickstarter as I don't play 4 string instruments, but I certainly would have otherwise....

I saw it advertised on facebook and looks like might be a good product. Both from a Play/Gig perspective and a learning one.
