Full size case with large interior pocket?
« on: Feb 20, 2020, 08:51:55 PM »
I'm looking for a LIGHT WEIGHT full size (4/4) violin case, with an interior accessory pocket large enough to hold my Bon Musica shoulder rest.

Can anyone make recommendations?  The less expensive, the better (assuming it's not light weight junk  ;) )  Thanks.

I bought one of those Cecilio electric violins when I first started fiddling. The instrument was rubbish but the case was lightweight and fairly roomy compared to some other cases I've seen. It is a sturdy canvas covered make. I'll bet it would be easy to find someone selling their Cecilio. You could get it just for the case.

My BAM case fits the fiddle , 2 bows and a Bon shoulder rest. Tight but it fits. Very light weight, very heavy $$. Got mine cheap during a trip to Hong Kong, it was moldering away on a shelf in the back of a music store. I offered 1/2 list and got it.
