Yowsers, I just listened to the midi with the chords, they're a bit, er, thumpetitious, aren't they? Turn a light waltz into Nellie the Hephalump, no insult intended to Steve. I don't think chords work too well on a 3/4 or 6/8 tune in that midi system.

I can see that the chords are great for a guitarist accompaniment, but I was never keen on piano for traditional music. Maybe that's just my crosseyed bear. When we put this in the finished list, could we have versions with and without chords?

Gotta agree with the chord player in concertina net. It does a weird job on "3" time signatures.

I attached is the midi. Our concertina.net really wreaks chords for 3 count tunes.
