Yeah - I'm great fans of both of them.  Wish I would have been in the studio - sounds like there is about 5 people clapping!   I've watched it about 7 times this afternoon!

Frakin amazing talent - and of course the tune was written by a genius.

I saw Jake with Joe Craven (look him up!) last year up North, and he is "the Eddie van Halen of the uke". If you don't have his DVD ("Play Loud Ukulele") that's definitely something for you to see. After getting a couple of Jumpin' Jim Beloff's "Uke Masters" books, another couple of uke guys that really stand out are Lyle Ritz and Herb Ohta. It's amazing what kinds of music you can make with that instrument.

oh Jen I finally found something both acoustic as well as semi-recent of Tommy E. playing with his brother Phil ( Phil still has flying fingers I see )  ;D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M94V5DDQwrg

Also I found more of brother Phil Emmanuel ... and I see he is still out there ...  playing rough places .... and anywhere  ;D ... but grabbing local talent and helping them get a bit of experience. Nice to see they play with many folk at lots of experience/fame  levels. Ok she looks out of place in a bush pub but meh ...... she likes her "Shadows tunes"   ;D ;D

and to prove she is a shadows fan ...

I think she looks more at home there than in a rough pub too  ;D ;D

OOOOOH Port!

Wonderful - and aye - she seems like she's not so well suited in the  bush pub!  Kinda like throwing the virgin into the volcano!
Thanks again!

Jen
