Nice!  It makes me want to find that ukelele someone got me in Hawaii.  Hmmm...I wonder what the strings are tuned to.  I'm pretty sure the one I have is drastically out of tune.

Standard tuning for uke is the "My Dog Has Fleas" tuning, G C A E, reentrant, where the G is higher pitched than the C, then C A E are low to high:

If you can find Lyle Ritz, John King (classical stuff) or Herb Ohta, they are pretty good at showing the uke is an instrument with few limitations. (I can't get into the video sites where I'm at now...)

Like the mando, it's an instrument you can play lying down, which I like... (on the uke, I like being able to use all my guitar chords!)

Actually, it's GCEA. Some mando players (my primary instrument) get a set of Low G strings, tune the C to a D, toss the E, use the A next and then add some fishing line (have to experiment; they vary) to tune to an E so it has the same tuning and chord shapes as a mando and of course, a fiddle.

Yup.  A bit of posting dyslexia.  In fact, I had to flip back and forth between that tuner that I posted (which has it correctly) and my post several times before I realized what you were pointing out.   It kept looking the same to me!
