add flying spiccato quant.suff. I don't play that way, so I can't write them. ;)

You wrote me a choon!
I'm so delighted!   :-* :-* :-*

You didn't make it an easy one though :o :o :o
It's going to be a tough one to memorize.  Never mind the flying pizzicato.  Right!  I've printed it out.  Will play it tonight!

Fun little tune, beeswing!
R:the way Emma plays it best :-)
So, Emma, what's the rhythm supposed to be like on this tune? Because I'd really like to learn to play it how it's supposed to be played ;)

Hmmm, the rhythm..........

Well, as I told Beeswing in  a PM, it's not such an easy tune, especially the 4th bar (which he told me I could change).  So at present, the way I play it best, is slow and jerky.
As I polish it up and add the flying spiccato (wot that?)  I imagine it could be, well, anything really!

The MAIN thing is Not Messing Up.  That's the ONLY important thing with this tune.  Just don't mess up.

Hehe, yeah, I change that 4th bar alright, I do it differently every time. Mm, perhaps I didn't mess up then. Ah, yeah I did/do. The change from the A to the B bit and the back to the start from the end I sort of fumble up. Oh, bet then, those could be slides and variation-like stuff, which is not messing up ;)

Alas Alas, I did not notice the key change in the B section until last night!  Oh Bees! from G major to D minor is a dastardly modulation.  Much of my work on the tune has been in vain!

I Messed Up!

Right, first time I played through it I messed up like that as well. My eye had seen a flat in the key sig in the b bit and somehow I never verified what the key sig on the first line was. Took me a bit to notice that and stop messing up. ;)

Emma, I think you were right the first time. Even though the abc says G dorian, the B part does kind of wander off towards D, doesn't it? When I was noodling the tune together, I put two flats there, but none of the E's wanted to be flatted, so I had to change it.
