Washburn M120 Mandolin
« on: Jan 26, 2007, 09:15:15 AM »
I have fancied an F style mandolin for a while but all the ones I try have a 28mm nut size and I find that a bit cramped.I saw this F style model by Washburn with a full 1 and 3/16ths nut designed by Ritchie Owens and I wondered if any of the mandolin players on this site had tried one and what they thought. They are not available in the UK but if I could get a few good recommendations I might try and source one in the US.Comments and advice appreciated.
Regards
Crofty

I bought the m3swe with the built in pick up/pre amp a couple of years ago, as I didn't want to resort to using a microphone. I like it a lot, though mandolin is not my primary instrument (by a WIDE margin). For the money, I think they're great. If you are not yet ready to spend big money, a Washburn will serve you well.
