I gave 'm a go, and as far as I can tell they're nice tunes. I'm not sure I'm getting the polka right though.

Question on the reel. Now I'm rather new at all this so I could have it all wrong but I thought a reel was supposed to be 8 bars and 8 bars either both repeated or not. So I'm thinking the repeat after the first line is not supposed to be there. Also there's either some notes missing at the end of the A bit or there should be a 4 after the z.

I'd love to hear a recording of you playing them, fiddle4, then I'd know if I'm playing them like you wrote them ;)

yes thats the way i'd like it played.

maybe my abc is not up to scratch,,i
dont like the first triplet it should be
a fancy roll -see i wrote it for flute if
you put it on the flute on midi patch and
speed it up a bit it should sound nearly
what i wanted..If you go to our web site
youll here the only recording i know of me
on the internet=http://www.hastetothewedding.com/
go to-[Our CD / Samples]look for=
5. Austen's : Austen's Reel (Jim McAuley) - Sheila Coyle's
Jim wrote the first reel for his youngest son, the second
is a popular in sessions around East Antrim.
