I'd like to point out that I bought one of these a year ago! Talk about being a trendsetter... ;D

Anyway, here's my question: being made of plywood, is it possible for these instruments to "open up" to any degree? Because mine seems to be doing just that.

Or maybe I'm just playing better...

Some people still debate about if the opening up of solid wood with a good thin finish makes a noticible improvement in sound, so I'd bet that a laminate with a thick candy-apple finish like the Rogue hasn't changed much in just year due to that.  Whatcha all think?

I'm not sure if the instrument is opening up or not, but I think players open up. You get used to an instrument and consciously or unconsciously learn how to bring the best out of it. Maybe, and hopefuly, you are getting better  :).
