Mark, my outbox doesn't record messages for some reason, so I'm not sure which version I sent you.

I don't think I've ever heard Fisher's Hornpipe! :o

All finished Martin? I'll post it in the writers tunebook if you're all set.

Yup,

I think my work here is done.

I know this sounds very traditional, but heck, that's what I was aiming for!

Martin, I suspect you play this fairly slow and bouncy? I was playing it as a fast reel at the weekend and it sounded great that way too. I'm still stuck to the dots but I'll have to learn it properly so I can play it with you at FH 2 if you're going.

Hi Simon,

Yeah, slow & bouncy is about all I can manage!

I'm very much planning to be at FH2, looking forward to meeting everybody!

Hi Fisherdec,

read the stickies at the top of this section, they should tell you all you need to know.

ABC is very handy for jotting down a tune quickly as it comes into your head (or fingers), the the Tune-o-tron on concertina.net will give you a midi to hear if you wrote it out right, and a .pdf  can be printed out as well.
