Party Tune to the Dust
« on: Jan 28, 2004, 09:30:49 PM »
I know we were looking at two string wonders a ways back. I decided to write one and then decided it sucked about half way through the A part - SO - I kept on writing it.  :smile2:

I also tried to focus on a minimum amount of fingering on this piece. Uh huh - so I failed in measure 7 B part. I tried to keep the string crossing exercise down. I think I accomplished that one.

Now that I got all that spastic stuff out of my system, perhaps I'll settle down for Martin. ;)

Slight variations on the theme, I've changed about 9 notes, mostly switching or choosing different notes within a chord. Mark is happy with this as a variant.

I can't decide which version I like better. I found Martin's to be more predictable and that is what made me post my version in the tune book. I just listen to the two versions again and I'm finding that I like Martin's modifications a little better.

What do the rest of you think?
