Title: New Bobelock Fiddle/Mando Combo Case
Post by: Theophilus on Jun 24, 2005, 11:30:58 PM
A while back I asked for info on a fiddle/mando combo case and I finally got mine today. I just loaded it and snapped a pic. I am pleased with how much room there is near the mando headstock. I was able to wrap my chinrest in a polish cloth and it fit there easily along with my tuner.

They've been quite popular here in bluegrass country.  If I had the room, I'd always keep a few in stock.   We get them for folks regularly, often on recommendation of someone with one, so they've got consumer acceptance.

i first saw them on display at he VSA in Baltimore 2003.  Bruce had all kinds of questions for us about size, shape, F-style vs A-style, etc.

Very nice. Will an A mando fit?

Yes, I think an A-style would fit just as well because of the body contours. So far I'm happy with it.

I have this same case and a-mandos fit fine. I put my shoulder rest in the cloth bag it came in and stash it just like you did. I really like this case alot!
