Hello Jim

I've just checked and have The Mathematician in a book called "The Caledonian Companion".  I reckon I can play all the notes, but not that fast or in that rhythm!!!  I am going to ask my teacher to look at it with me.

Thanks, Rachel

Hello Joy

I have just got in from a school concert, I played Liebesleid by Fritz Kreisler.  I forgot to say that the concerto was by Mozart.  I had a little listen to the aural CD last night, it's got 8 tests on it and I listened to the 1st, I thought it was pretty hard but I got a few questions right.  I'll have another listen tomorrow before I go to my regional orchestra rehearsal.  Thanks for your encouragement.

Rachel

Belated well-doneness! Grrr, stupid AS levels getting in the way of me being able to keep up with the forum... ;) Grade 8, that's amazing, I gave up grades after grade 5 - me and theory didn't exactly hit it off...
Anyways, good luck with the exam and the orchestra!
