How's the weather over there? Been a great week here, and looking like a real scorcher today. Will I pack me shorts and shades?

It's been good the last few days and the BBC weather report is extremely promising... perhaps we should move outdoors in the day time ;) ?

Is the world ready for a 6 foot something lanky Belfastman in shorts?! ;)

It's lovely here, but you do have to remember that it's Buxton we're talking about... it's not like those far flung places a few miles away. It has been known for it to snow in July in Buxton. Whilst the rest of Derbyshire is enjoying a heat wave, Buxtonites are training for the winter olympics.

So, I would recommend bringing:
Shorts
Sandals
T-Shirts
Sunglasses
Umbrellas
Raincoats
Thermal gloves
and Snow shoes
Debut solo album, 'The Lark's March' out now. More info at triciaclark.co.uk

Far better than a short, fat, valley-living Scouser in shorts. Nowhere is ready for that.

Eek, 28° on Sunday! Lucky the George is indoors. I'm still bringing my umbrella though. ;)

I'll have to leave the snowboots and umbrella at home, got my hands full bringing 3 fiddles. Don't have shorts (me in shorts would be even more shocking then Jeff not to mention simon) so that makes for easy packing. Sunglasses could fit somewhere, but the thermal gloves stay home, it can't be THAT cold there. Don't have a raincoat either so I'll stick to the t-shirts and slippers.

I'm almost all packed and leave early tomorrow to arrive somewhere around half eight. Quite the trip, but at least there are no airplanes involved :)
